It's Our Job, and We Love It

Our goal at Camp Waweig is to provide every camper with an experience that is both safe and happy, one that they will remember with fond memories for a lifetime. We will provide campers with the opportunity to participate in activities designed to develop leadership skills, to build character and promote physical fitness. The ultimate goal is to have fun, learn new skills and talents, and to allow the youth to feel a sense of accomplishment at the end of each camp.

Our objective is to deliver programs which include wildlife, fisheries, forestry, trapping, biodiversity, and outdoor skills information in an engaging way to youth. we aim to motivate them to learn more about the area’s ecosystems, wildlife communities, and how their own actions can improve the stability of these systems. All camps include swimming, art, campfires, and lots of laughter.
